With a background of Electronics Engineering in the aerospace industry, Roger has worked in Computer networking since 1993. As a qualified teacher in further education he has delivering commercial training in Networking technologies and has lectured on a guest basis at Portsmouth University.

With the growth of serial storage architectures Roger moved to Xyratex working with SCSI, and later with the rapidly emerging Fibre Channel and Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) technologies.

He now runs his own company distributing and supporting a range of storage analyzers, contributing development expertise to the project. He also provides development consulting services to a European customer base.
